Judy founded the firm in 1996 with the goal of providing big city PR to mid-sized companies throughout the West, while based in the beautiful mountain town of Bend. Most important to her is the process of discovering each client’s unique story and communicating that in a compelling way to the audiences that matter most. Judy’s start was in the fashion industry with Esprit de Corp in San Francisco, but found her love for marketing and communications with Caesar Associates in St. Louis and Rome. Judy spent much of the 90′s with NIKE in various roles including International Corporate Communications Manager and PR Manager for ACG (All Conditions Gear), Soccer and Tennis. Judy enjoys giving back to her local community by supporting Bend Film Festival, Caldera and the Boys and Girls Club with pro bono work. She loves running, biking, hiking to clear mountain lakes, swimming, windsurfing and yoga. She lives in Bend with her husband and their two daughters, kitty, chickens and 9,000 (and counting) honey bees.

A connoisseur of the written word, Marie feels her most creative when she is typing away. Creating client messaging that resonates with target media is her specialty, while complementing traditional approaches with new media outreach. She thrives on finely crafted messages, front-page stories and building relationships with the writers she works with most. Creating relationships within the community is also important to this 6th-generation Oregonian, who traces her roots to the Oregon Trail. She earned her B.A. in public relations and English from University of Oregon & her M.A. in English from Portland State University. Marie enjoys Central Oregon’s seasons with her husband and son by mountain biking and hiking in the summer and snowboarding and Nordic skiing in the winter. She is the proud mom of three rescued bully dogs: an American pit bull terrier, a French bulldog and an English bull terrier.
